Golden Week - Hiroshima.

On Wednesday we took the shinkansen from Shizuoka to Hiroshima. To start with, we checked out the Atomic Bomb Dome, some museums, Hiroshima Castle, and walked around downtown for a while. The weather was perfect.

This clock counts down the time since the first bomb was dropped and the time since the last bomb was tested.

Of course we had to try some Hiroshima okonomiyaki - it was awesome. I think in the great Osaka style vs. Hiroshima style okonomiyaki debate, Hiroshima style definitely wins. Check out the video - this is just a little clip of the process:
