It's 6 am and I'm awake.

I was jolted awake at about 5:07 am by the biggest eathquake I've felt in Japan yet.
It was a 6.4 on the Richter Scale and about 20 miles from Shizuoka (I live about 20 minutes from Shizuoka).
A bunch of things fell of my shelves and my big mirror fell over (nothing was broken, though).
And now we're still getting aftershocks.

For a girl that grew up in the Midwest, earthquakes are hard to get used to!

I heard that! They reported over here that it was 6.6! I was hoping you were ok!

Um, yeah, Kris...I pretty much did the same thing this time. I was out of bed and to my door, ready to make a run for it, in about 2.2 seconds.
I live on the second floor.
I have no idea where I thought I was going.
But wherever it was, I was getting there FAST!

It is extremely interesting for me to read the article. Thanx for it. I like such themes and everything connected to them. I definitely want to read a bit more soon.
